.
Sometimes you really need to mention a person in your post, for example, if you cite a well-known personality or if you have to mark a winner of a contest. At this point Facebook does not allow you to mention people in the post on behalf of a group. At the same time you can do that while the editing, but how? Let’s find out.
Step 1
Click on the post you want to edit among the Scheduled Posts.
Step 2
To edit the post you can click «Edit» or just click on the post itself. For our purpose we need a second option.
Step 3
Then click the avatar of your page and switch to your profile after a pop-up window appears.
Step 4
Click «Edit». Before writing the user’s name, type the symbol «@». Next, type the name without using the spacebar (the way it’s registered on Facebook, for example: «@Светлана Ройз») and select it from the pop-up list, then save the changes. And voilà! :)
Step 5
Your post is ready! In the Scheduled Posts you can see that the mentioned name is highlighted which means the hyperlink is active.
There is one restriction on Facebook at the moment – the admin of a page can mention only their friends or users with mutual friends using this method.
